You Could Lose Your Doctor, Your Insurance and Be Dumped Into Medicaid

According to a study from the Lewin Group prepared for the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, more than 20,000 New Hampshire residents could lose their doctors and be shifted from their current high quality private health insurance plans into the substandard Medicaid program where they are 97% more likely to die in surgery than privately insured individuals and 13% more likely to die in surgery than individuals with no insurance at all according to a University of Virginia study.

The Doctor Won’t See
You Now

As a result of Medicaid Expansion, not only could more than 20,000 New Hampshire residents lose their doctor, but wait times to see a doctor are likely to increase as well. According to a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine, those moved to Medicaid, which has no or fractional co-pays, saw an increase in using doctors’ services of 30% or more. With more demands on doctors’ time and no more doctors, wait times to get to your doctor will increase. No one knows how much longer your wait will be.

It's Not in the Best Interest of New Hampshire

Medicaid Expansion is neither in the best interest of the fiscal health of our state and our taxpayers nor the physical health of its intended recipients.

The Diagnosis Is In: ObamaCare Medicaid Expansion is wrong for New Hampshire.

New Hampshire Families May Pay The Bill Through an Income Tax

Finally, even though Washington promised it will cover New Hampshire’s Medicaid Expansion expenses for the first three years, the same federal government has already broken numerous promises under ObamaCare If this pattern continues and the federal funding for the ObamaCare Medicaid Expansion does not come through, New Hampshire families will be stuck with a bill of hundreds of millions each year, all of which could lead to the institution of an income tax in New Hampshire to pay for Medicaid Expansion.
